Doce Pares Qualifiers

THE Cubacub Martial Arts Club Inc. (CMACI) stamped their class in the Doce Pares Final Philippine Team Qualifying Tournament as they copped six gold medals in the Sayaw competitions at the Cubacub Sports Complex last Saturday.

Pint-sized Churmette Rocamora led the CMACI charge as she topped the Non-traditional Girl’s 8-10 years old division and also helped her team win the gold medal in the Synchronized Women’s Form.

Other CMACI winners were Rex Alivio (Non-traditional Boy’s 14-15), Kim Quirabo (Non-traditional Boy’s 16-17), Jessie Alivio (Non-traditional Men’s Open) and the CMACI’s Men’s Synchronized Team.

Ibale Center for Academe settled for second spot after garnering three golds courtesy of Mary Louise Regala (Traditional Girls’ 11-13), Catherine Cuarez (Traditional Girls’ 14-15) and Jelian Ceniza (Traditional Girls’ 16-17).

Kauswagan Self Defense Brotherhood, on the other hand, salvaged the third spot after Jomar Opigal (Traditional Men’s Open) and Frank Joseph Borces (Non- traditional Boys’ 11-13) ruled their respective divisions. (PR)
